Linling Lu

Linling was born in 1983 in Guizhou Province, China.  She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting from Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA), Baltimore, MD, in 2008, and a Master of Fine Arts from the Hoffberger School of Painting, MICA, in 2011.  She is known for her paintings based in color and asymmetrically shaped works incorporating found fabrics.  She is represented in Washington, D.C. by Hemphill Fine Arts.
